Mango Nectar Lemonade Slush
=) A Mango Nectar lemonade slush, sweet but not overbearing, cool with a refreshing aftertaste and a thick smooth nectar of mango juice nurturing every taste bud it glides across! =) Nostalgic. This slush reminds me of the smooth texture of the Sailor Moon Ice Cream bars with the bubble gum ball in the middle I used to run behind ice cream trucks for!
The key ingredient to this super sweet fruit slush is a mango nectar juice I stumbled across while wandering around Costco fending for food samples. Langer’s Mango Nectar is everything! It’s made from Alphonso Mangos and has a thick consistency, which could actually be perfect in smoothies as well! The only drawback to this Mango Nectar is that it has 35 grams of sugar, being that women are “supposed” to consume 25g of sugar a day and men 37.5g.
The great thing about this slush is that, even after it has melted it still tastes just as amazing! If you have a Costco or a Sam’s Club in your area and you just so happen to see Langer’s Mango Nectar. Give it a try, then give this slush a try 😉 – and come back and tell me what you think!

10 minTotal Time
1 Cup Langer's Mango Nectar
½ scoop of Country Time Lemonade Drink Mix
1 tablespoon of frozen strawberries
1 tablespoon of Welch's Strawberry Breeze
A few cubes of ice - add to your preference!
In a blender, I use a Nutri-Bullet, mix all ingredients together and blend. Depending on the consistency, add more ice and blend to thicken the slush mixture. Slide your slush in a Starbucks Tumblr cup & turn up! For a good time, add wine and if you’re feeling risky add whiskey!! Enjoy!!
Update: Somehow, about two shot glasses worth of Jose Cuervo found it’s way into my cup and I thought I may need to forewarn you, depending on your alcohol selection (if you choose one), it will be very subtle because this slush is so sweet. By the time you realize you feel anything – it may be too late. =)
